Hi everyone

As the terms for the current Chair, Secretary and Treasurer come to an end, we wanted to give you the opportunity to become part of the 124th Executive Committee, taking on these vital roles.

You don’t need previous experience for the Chair and Secretary roles, but the Treasurer role does involve preparing accounts, so it would be a great opportunity for an accountant looking for personal development opportunities.

These 3 roles are vital to the operation of the Group, acting as Trustees, ensuring proper governance over Committee operations and providing oversight of the group finances.

All of the roles do need some time to fulfil commitments, but in reality this is around 1-3 hours per week depending on the activities in the calendar. They are vital to helping ensure our kids continue to enjoy the opportunities scouting provides.
