ScoutsJoint Troop ProgrammeScouts meet weekly from 7:15 until 9:00 p.m. We will be starting our Autumn programmes on Tuesday 9th for Thor and Wednesday 10th for Woden. Please come in full uniform, that is scout shirts and necker and appropriate dark trousers, ideally navy activity trousers. Jeans or joggers are generally not approved. We look forward to meeting new recruits. If you have not been invested you may wear either a scout shirt, without a necker or your cub uniform. Leaders will be available at the begining of the meeting to answer any questions. Please look out for weekly updates on this web site, we also hope to make a programme available for downloading, this will also include dates for camps for 2009. We look forward to seeing you . CampsSummer CampWell done to everyone who attended this years Summer Camp. You all worked very hard to make it another great summer camp for the 124th. I hope you enjoyed as much as I did. Since we were unable to do sea fishing whilst on camp there is £10 rebate available. THAI (formely known as NASH) Patrol Camp. Carsington Water 11th and 12th October.Provisional date for Patrol Camp, where the camp is planned, organised and run, (with support) by the Patrol Leaders. Activities need to be chosen and bookings made in order to secure either Sailing, Windsurfing or Kayaking. We have not made bookings for activities for the camp. Plans for the camp will depend on the number of PL's and scouts prepared to make a firm commitment to the camp. We are having difficulty providing leader support for the camp but I'm sure this could be overcome if sufficient scouts are keen. |
