Beavers Blog – May 2019

Welcome to the 2nd Beaver Scout Blog. The aim is to provide a blog/newsletter per half term when the programme is produced. This will hopefully reduce the numerous letters and emails being sent.
Here are a few things happening this term :- (Please also refer to the Programme at the Scout Hut and on the 124th Web site and Facebook)

Jumble Sale -Saturday 13th July

This is a great time to donate items you no longer need. The money raised from our jumble sales allow the group to function and provide essential equipment and subsidise camps and activities.

Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th September – Beaver District Camp.

This is a brilliant camp for Beavers to attend, to join in with the numerous activities and get to make new friends with other Beavers in the District. Details to follow.

Reminders

And last, but not least just a few polite reminders. Please could the badges be sewn on the sweatshirt and not the polo top.

And please could your Son/Daughter arrive promptly. We appreciate that some may find this difficult due to other commitments, but please be mindful that we may have to finish a little later than planned to complete the activities.

We hope that this information has been helpful to you and if you have any questions then please do not hesitate to contact us.
